What about slant sixes in Chryslers: http://www.slantsix.com/

About the buy/sell, I think a sub-forum within each marque's forum would be the best bet for efficiency of posting as well as ease of moderation.

I love: Ferraris, Alfas, and BMWs in that order.

Perhaps best to sub divide them somehow and how to do this should be our challenge rather than a spot the non listed manufacturer frenzy?

In the U.S. alone between the 1890's and WW2 there were more than 3,000 different companies making automobiles. When William Durant was putting together General Motors, he bought more than 1200 automobile companies if I remember the history correctly. Some of those companies had no value other than that they were available. In fact even though he bought over 1200 companies, G.M. consisted of Chevy, Overland (which became Pontiac), Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac at the time he was fired from G.M., and the reason for his firing was that he was still trying to buy more brands that G.M. didn't need.

i think you have to add the valiant word to chrysler

    chrysler/valiant

or should valiant get a title of its own?

I think this site is excellent. It should be a hopping forum with thousands of members! There is no discrimination here, whether you like late 60's muscle cars or obscure old European imports (or both like me!) there is a section for you. Every old car guy in the world should post here and I dont see why they dont. I just found the forum today, linked from bringatrailer.com and I wish I had found it sooner. It needs more advertising, if the word was out there, than I think people would come. I will do my best to spread the word but some suggestions that have worked for more specific forums that I am part of have been spotted card, kind of like a buisiness card to leave on cars you see and window decals so everyone at a show you bring you car to can see it. Not sure how motivated the admins are, but it would be nice to see this thing grow. I am a very active member at a couple of other forums that are way more centric to one mark or country of manufacture and they have thousands of activly posting members, lets grow this!
