I know! Also the hanging lights front and rear make it a special car for me;
but it barely fits in my garage; so it won't be me![]()
One of the most luxurious cars of 1961, for scooter money.
Wow, a real survivor from the Virgil Exner years. Love that instrument panel! Never was much of a Chrysler fan, but this car has potential!

I agree with both statements. I just drove the car yesterday, and I just can't get over how much push it has when it is such a huge car.
How can that engine rev so quick with 6.8 liters of combustion???
Lovely car.
The mechanicals on that era of Chrysler had the reputation of being "over-engineered" and very durable. Unfortunately, the tin worm was a big problem, and as we all know, by the late sixties, large finned Detroit Iron was usually the butt of a joke. They didn't age well until rediscovered sometime during the eighties. IMO. Now, while I consider them exessive, the designs from that period, especially from Chrysler and GM (Studebaker too) were really cool!
